Worked a wedding last Saturday with the amazing #foreverinbloom team—a well-oiled machine and a joy to freelance with. As a lifelong student, I clock a good challenge when I see one—and before school, I never would’ve guessed weddings would be my favorite new one. Always evolving. Cheers to a busy wedding season to my colleagues in the biz.

An inspiring six weeks of intensive study at Flower School—filled with knowledge, creativity, and meaningful new connections. Collaborating with Floratorium has been equally rewarding; their artistry is as remarkable as their installations. Grateful for the journey so far and energized for all that lies ahead.

One of the most challenging freestyle projects in school was creating a mock wedding setup for a potential client. I drew inspiration from New Order’s Power, Corruption & Lies—Peter Saville’s iconic design using Henri Fantin-Latour’s Basket of Roses. Looking back, my palette also echoes Severance’s moody tones. The instructor’s feedback was incredibly kind, even calling it a Master Class in storytelling. Surprisingly, I enjoyed wedding culture more than I expected. 🌹 #petersavilledesign #neworder #neworderfans #neworderofficial #realism #powercorruptionlies

More often than not I use impact through fewer flowers and/or branches. However more traditional western flower arrangements or tablescapes using flowers require at least 7 different flowers to recreate the natural beauty of outdoors. In these classes I took I used 12-14.
